The last days of winter...

Some time spent outside... on those lovely and rare warm winter days :)

Forget all the cool climbing equipment and tiddy rubber surfaces... Kieran prefers the woods every time!

Hanging pine cone bird feeders in the backyard- they were gone the next day!

Watching a coopers hawk in the backyard- thanks for the great binoculars Uncle Zack!
Casting animal footprints!

We love Runge- no matter what the weather there are always so many activities to keep us occupied :)

Playing with birds of prey puppets on Eagle Day.

Hiking the Runge trails...

And climbing fences!

Coloring an otter at a craft table in Runge.

Riding the turtle!

Building a life-sized eagle nest... yes, they are that big!

Watching a presentation about Missouri eagles...

Kieran was fascinated!

Kieran and cousin Jaqui playing in a giant tree stump at Runge...

Our little forest wizzard :)

Prepping the nursery... gotta get rid of the bed to make room for the crib! Kieran was very excited to be doing some "man" work... he told me to leave and do some "woman" work like cooking! Not sure where he gets this from, seeing as how daddy does most of the cooking ;)

Putting together the crib- which used to be Kieran's :)

Painting begins!

Kieran joined in on the fun... he was quite the little worker!

Painters get messy sometimes!

Mommy added a mural...

Thank you to Aunt Joyce for the great storage tower- it will come in handy for sure!

Kieran helped us fold and put away diapers and we showed him how to use them... just in case he ever wants to help with that too!

Diapering Mr. Fox :)

Making a picture frame with daddy at a "Big Brother" class... for a photo of Kieran with the new baby :)

Looking at a new baby through the nursery window... Kieran was the most interested in the baby's belly button stump!

Ready for St. Patrick's day ;) Watch out Johnny Leprechaun- Kieran's got his green on!

Love his expression in this one- he looks a lot like a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz.
My breakfast date... one of our many snow days this winter- look at that face... what a little doll!

Mommy and Kieran at a Chinese restaurant...

Eating again on our way to get our new car in St. Louis...

Kieran's sculpture he made in the waiting area while daddy and I signed papers for our new Mazda 5- a mini-mini-van!

A little bath art- a great gift from the baby shower- just for big boy!

Christmas 2013!

A Christmas painting project at West with the twins...

The finished results in blue...

And gold! One for each Nana:)

Visiting Santa at Bass Pro... "Santa, I want a Ninjago sword!" Too bad mom and dad didn't know about that one until three days before Christmas!

Giving Frosty a  little love :)

Petting a reigndeer...

Shooting a "bow-weapon" with dad at some duck targets...

Kieran was pretty pleased with himself when he managed to knock two over- look at the determination on his face!

Driving the train at Bass Pro... a winter wonderland for kids and families!

We managed to snap a quick family photo- but as you can see Kieran was not impressed with this idea ;)

Christmas morning, our house with lights :)

This year's tree- before all the branches started drooping and the needles fell offf ;)

Christmas morning... Kieran was sooo excited about his "Warrior Elf" costume- which included a sword and archery set! The first thing he said when he saw all the presents Santa brought him was, "I didn't know if I would get anything because I was bad this year!" Poor thing- he must have been sweating it the last couple weeks before the big day.

Opening stockings at Nana/Papa's house...

"Slime!!" It's funny how these cheapy stocking stuffers are sometimes the favorites- at least at first ;)

A thank you hug for Nana Jo... our little lover:)
