Big news for Kieran!

Two big events this week for Kieran... 1st and most importantly... he's a cousin! Presley Hayden arrived yesterday morning via c-section! She weighed 7.5 oz and was 19" long! Mom and baby are doing well and so is the new dad! Kieran was very excited to meet her... well actually, he was more interested in the ceiling tile, but some day soon he will be very happy to have such a cute little cousin to play with!
The other exciting event is the first tub bath! Kieran really likes luxuriating in the warm water and didn't give us any fuss until he had to get out and got a little cold- being cold is not his thing and I can completely relate to that!

Kieran 3 weeks...

Kieran is 3 weeks old today! He is changing all the time and sleeping less and less at least during the day and going longer stretches at night- luckily for me! He enjoys his swing... but only for short periods of time... he looks like he is having a very serious conversation in this pic... and in my head, for some reason, he looks as though he would speak with a British accent!

Kieran 2.5 weeks...

As you can see, Kieran lost his belly-button-stump today and now sports a very cute little innie! Congrats baby Kieran! We had lots of visitors today- Auntie Erin first, followed by Grandma Sandy and Aunti Lori and Uncle Jesse... Kieran is one popular baby!

Kieran's 2 weeks old today!

Happy birthday baby-boy! Kieran had a couple of firsts today... His first outfit without feetie and therefore the need for baby socks- sooooo cute! He also rolled over from his tummy to his back during a tummy time session- way to go big-boy!

A fancy meal for mom and dad...

Thanks to grandma D, Rick and I enjoyed a lovely lobster tail dinner last night with sweet potatoes, garlic bread and asparagus (from Grandma R). Kieran slept through the meal- what a good baby ( :

What a big boy! Kieran is working out those baby muscles and then taking a well deserved rest in daddy's lap ( : He had a two-week check-up today and surpassed his birth weight- but nearly a whole ounce! Way to go Kieran!
