April 2015!

And so it begins... an obsession with mom's phone...
Which is why my "indestructible" Otterbox is gnawed and tattered all around the rubber edges ;)

Getting excited for Easter playing with eggs at Nene Orange's house

Such sweet smiles :)

Freshly updated plantings in the front... I love spring!

On the hunt...

I remember playing by this tree and forest line when I was a student at RB... love sharing this space with my own child :)

Egg hunt, wave two... look out here come the toddlers!

On the move!

Victory! Kieran in front of the Capitol fountains

A colorful and tired family... note the kids rolling down the hill in the background... this proved an effective technique for removing all the colored chalk from Kieran's clothes ;)

Little girl had fun too :)

Kieran lost his first tooth, a few weeks after his 6th birthday... here he is proudly displaying his gap-grin and a dollar in his monster tooth pillow :)

This little darling is such a good mama... she loves all things baby doll!

Happy 1st birthday to our little green fairy!
I had too much fun decorating for this forest fairy birthday party. Red bud branches hang from the pendant lights and chandelier with dozens of photos of Emerald's first year clipped to fuzzy mint colored yarn, attached with glittered mini clothes pins... I don't think I got to bed before 2 a.m. the night before!

The dining table with a shimmering mint green runner, fresh flowers, strawberry cupcakes and green paper decorations.

The grandmothers loved all the pictures of Emerald and took many of them home with them after the party :)

Our little green fairy hangs onto Papa's pants... "Pick me up papa!"

She was so beautiful in her sweet little mint green romper, glittery cream fairy wings and bejeweled head band... can you tell I am having fun with this little girl? ;)

Nene Orange is pretty crazy about her only granddaughter :)

Auntie Shannon and cousin Presley

Emerald's five layer green ombre cake with her first birthday fairy on top :)

She loves sparkles, shoes and all things girly ;)

We hosted a birthday brunch with quiche, fresh fruit, monkey bread and mimosas- mmmm! The older kids enjoyed fairy themed crafts including creating wearable fairy wings, designing fairy houses and making a wish by popping glitter filled balloons attached to the wall in the shape of a giant toadstool!

This little girl is very loved :)

This big brother is smitten with his little sister and the feeling is mutual!
Craft time!

This doesn't look good ;)

The McKee's with Emerald... it's disco time!

Emerald loved her strawberry cupcake and, just like her brother at his first birthday, wanted to share a handful of cake with mommy :)

Wearing her personalized fairy first birthday onesie- thank you Auntie Lori!

A fairy banner I made for the party and then hung in Emerald's bedroom above her window :)

Emerald was obsessed with the flyswatter this spring...

She mostly uses it to sweep ;)

Watch out flies, Emerald is on patrol!

Sweet smiles at Edith's princess birthday party
