Septemberish

When we returned to work, Emerald had to go to daycare. We feel very fortunate to have found KKatelyn McClain. She is a stay at home mommy of a two year old (Carsyn- seen above) with an early childhood degree, years experience working in preschools and a certified car seat technician to boot! We sort of felt like we hit the  babysitter lottery with her :) Emerald seems to love KKatelynand thoroughly enjoys watching the big girls (Carsyn and Bella) play. Katelyn takes the girls places- like parks, Runge and the mall play place. We are thrilled that Emerald is so well cared for and that she gets to get out and see the world a little too. I love that Katelyn sends me daily updates and pictures of little girl's day so that I can feel a little more connected to our sweetheart while I am away at work.

Sweet sleeping baby at daycare...

Mama's girls ;)

We took Kieran for his inaugural Renaissance Festival trip this year and he loved it! Here he making a magic wand with some woodland faeries ;)

Emerald riding a spring robin :)

Our sweet little ladybug-boy ;)

From sweet to knight... I love his expression in this one!

Waiting their turn to ride the dragon! This is a ride I remember riding with my dad when we were kids :)

Ready to rock!

One of Kieran's favorite parts- the GIANT turkey leg lunch!

Emerald wanted to get down and roll around a bit- all smiles, of course!

Getting sleepy... it was a very long day for this little one who couldn't bring herself to nap all day.

This simple ride was a favorite :)

Getting sleepier...

And out! Check out that drool string!

"Mom... are they REAL mermaids?"

So sweet :)

Kieran was so excited that Emerald was finally big enough for the Jumperoo!

She was pretty thrilled about it too ;)

It's a rough sort of love ;)

Thanks Auntie Aoife for the fun shirt!

The ladies.
Lest you think she's always happy ;) She hates the car seat.
Her first tooth came in somewhere between four and five months... and then they just kept coming!
