Kieran in his exersaucer

Thanks to Auntie Erin!!

A milestone in play for Kieran today... his first time in an exersaucer and he loves it! Thank you so much Auntie Erin for letting us borrow this great toy! He really seems to enjoy sitting up and being in charge of his own little body for a change. I have a feeling we will be getting a lot of milage out of this thing!
PS Don't ya think Kieran resembles Max Rebo just a bit?! (that's a Star Wars character for those of you non-nerds)

12 weeks old today!

Kieran is 12 weeks old today! What a big and happy boy! Funny thing though, we had a photographer come to the house this morning for baby and family pictures and I swear he saved all his smiles for after she left- Silly baby! Oh well... I think she did get some really nice shots of Kieran and few with mommy and daddy too! The photographer, Nicole Manners, was great! She stayed for two hours and really worked with us and Kieran- who was fussy more often than not! We had a lot of fun working with her and will definitely post a link to the finished images when we get it.
A funny side story...We were walking in from the back yard with the photographer, just having finished shooting some outdoors pics, when we were greeted on our doorstep by a frantic looking woman in a velour track suit. She's on the phone and wants to know how long this white SUV has been parked outside our house. Apprently she thinks her husband is up to some shinnagans in our hood. She offered us $20 to stand guard on our porch and report back to her! We declined her generous offer. She is currently stuffing all matter of yard debri in the gas tank of what we can only assume is her husband's car! Got to love our neighborhood!
