More December fun...

Kieran's first roller skating experience... we met Lori's girls at the local skating rink for a birthday party... he wasn't so sure at first...

He was very sure about this giant panda though ;)

Everyone loved the birthday bear :)

As time went on, he became a lot more comfortable... and by the end he was already planning our next visit ;)

The kiddos taking a break from all that hard skating work ;)

Sadly, our little beta, who has been with us the past three or four years, finally died. Kieran was a bit sad, but was also very excited to choose a new fish...

Introducing, Brooklynn, the beta ;)

This boy loves his "big" cousins!

Helping baste the Thanksgiving turkey- such a big boy!

Our budding artist painting a goose at Runge...

So serious :)

Showing off his rainbow toenails- still loves for me to paint them.

So pretty!

Little boy proudly displaying our announcement... we are expecting a little sister in April!

Proof positive that a Rother can occasionally produce a girl ;)

And a pretty little profile :)

Fall...

Trying on a Medusa hat at Target... getting excited for Halloween!

Spider web art at a spider event at Runge.

MU Southfarms event- checking out the giant tortuous.

Loving the llama.

He has no fear of snakes, spiders or other creepy crawlies... good boy!

Successfully milking a cow on his first try ;)

Checking out the Clydesdale with daddy.

See- no fear... Kieran couldn't wait to put his hand inside this cow and seconds later he proudly displayed the partially digested, fowl smelling, handful of hay he found!

"Look ma! A gourd!"

We ran into the Pitts girls- what a lovely bit of serendipity!

Master of the cheese ;)

Showing off his tickets at the West School Chili Supper.

Waiting his turn for the bounce house...

Enjoying a hot dog in the West cafeteria... hard to believe he will be eating his lunches there next year... so big!

Face painting in the art room...

Our little Ninja Turtle ;)

Ready to trick-or-treat in his dino costume from Nana Jo- thanks grandma!

It was tricky getting a shot of the kids together- they were bouncing off the walls!

The gang gets started in the old Ashland neighborhood...

And what luck! We run into Camden and his family. The boys held hands off and on the entire time they were together- so sweet :)

"Candy!!"

Best friends.

Kieran and Jon in costume ;)

Kieran proudly poses, super hero style, after helping me carve his Batman pumpkin... thanks Auntie Joyce for the carving kit and cool sound-effects machine!

We were pretty proud of our efforts ;)

Daddy and Kieran and the annual Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival....

Beautiful weather for the event!

Getting geared up to ride a horse...

So brave!

The ubiquitous pumpkin shot ;)

Decorating a pumpkin at the Jeff City Fall fest...

And turning the crank to make apple cider- mmmm!

Lowering the drawbridge over the moat around his leaf castle and Nana/Papa's house.

Going down to the dungeon ;)

All smiles...

This boy loves him a leaf pile!
