The last days of summer and the 1st day at school

Kieran passed out on the sofa with nene orange after a date night. Note the orange Cheeto dust covering his face- Kieran and grandma always have lots of fun ;)
Kieran wearing two of my shoes, no pants and toting my stuffed bunny around (yes- I still sleep with this thing- have since I was a little girl- looks like Kieran maybe adopting it!)

A parting shot ;)
Kieran in Rick's shoes getting ready to do some cooking- as you can see he has a thing for trying on our shoes!

Kieran doing a little cleaning in his kitchen- he really does have clothes but he seems to prefer his birthday suit- and who can blame him- look how cute it is!

A lunch-date with mommy at India House. Kieran loved the tandori chicken and sweet rice. He sat opposite me like a big boy and even drank from an actual glass as I had forgotten his sippy cup in the car.

Kieran at Cosmo Park with daddy- looking pretty cool!

This is why we have sand all over our house!

A boy and his very large stick ;)

Kieran's first sack lunch for KIM school- roasted chicken, carrots, grapes, pita chips and yogurt dip- mmmm!

Getting ready to go into school for his first full day- note the granola bar- he take nearly an hour every morning to eat- so we decided he is going to have to eat on the way to school- today it was veggie-sausage patty, fruit and a granola bar- worked pretty good the first time...

Kieran leading the way into his new school with mommy trailing behind

On his way in the door- such a big boy!
Kieran's first full day at KIM school went pretty well. He did great in the morning except for an accident on the playground- just couldn't get to the bathroom in time. Apparently nap was a bit rough and so was wake up- but the up side is that he seems excited to go back tomorrow. Rick is doing drop-off without me the rest of the week, which should help the transition a little. I will be sure to post more pics and updates of Kiearn's time at his new school. We are very excited and I didn't even cry at drop-off... I just can't believe we have such a big boy all of a sudden- they aren't kidding when they say, "They grow up so quick!"
