Shiba video

This is our first attempt at uploading video... Rick took it the other night when the shibas were in the midst of their nightly play-session. We also posted it on youtube... good practice for baby footage!

Just about 33 weeks!

Here it is folks... 33 weeks-ish and bigger still! We saw the doc today... things are going well. We measured at 33 cm so now we are right on target for one very big baby boy! I've also included a picture of Neko- don't you love that expression?!
We will finish up our child birth class next week and later in February will have a parenting and CPR course. Getting geared up! We are also looking forward to our baby shower this month too! Baby, baby, baby! We are baby crazy around the Rother house-hold these days!

WOW!!! Look at that belly!

Holy cow!!! How much bigger can one belly get?! Don't answer that! Anyway... here I am around 31 weeks. We measured 32 cm at our last doctor appointment yesterday. We are going every two weeks now.
We had our first baby classes this week too. Child birth and nursing. Some useful information and some scary information as well! We also met with our PAT person again this week- she's great! We are always super stoked for this baby when ever she visits. Baby, baby, baby these days!

More from the nursery...

Today I got the leaves painted on and touched up rough spots on the tree. Eventually I would like to add small family photos to the branches. I also got the rug and a little touch lamp for some extra light. It's coming right along and it's been a lot of fun to put together! I can't wait for Rick to see the progress when he get's home from work!

The nursery... in progress stage 4

Rick hangs our super cute forest friends mobile that Grandma Sandy gave us for my birthday. Check out our progress so far and a close up of the mobile! We are calling it a night for now... back to work tomorrow!

The nursery... in progress stage 3

Rick begins painting our family tree mural... it still has a way to go before it's complete but it's looking great so far! Next up: leaves, little animals and family photos!

The nursery... in progress stage 2

Neko inspects our progress...
"Hmmm- the book shelf needs to be anchored to the wall but this crib looks very sturdy."
