Kieran happy... and a little sad

11 Weeks Old Today!

Kieran is 11 weeks old today! He wasn't all smiles for this morning's photo shoot unfortunately... I attribute this to the fact that he needed to potty- which he did shortly afterwards and was much happier! In any case, he still is adorable in his weekly pics ( :

Update on Neko-Peko-Princess-Pants

As many of you know, Neko had to have 15 stones removed from her little bladder. She has soldiered through the past two weeks of staples in her belly, bloody pee and the dreaded e-collar and has come out the other side happy, healthy and back to her old self! Neko and I relished in a little cuddle time on the couch after our visit to the vet. Just wanted everyone to know that the little princess is doing great!
PS I just uploaded a pic of the stones that were in here bladder... eeesh!! They look sharp and painful! Poor little girl!

Little lion onesie

This super sweet little onesie was a gift from Kate Wier- thanks auntie Kate! Onesies have become the outfit of choice around the house now that it's in the 80's. However mommy seems to think Kieran needs a romper or pants in public- silly mommy!

It may be a bit hard to tell in this picture but Kieran is starting to bat at hanging objects and even grasp them! It was exciting to witness yet another milestone... actually Rick was the first to notice while we driving the day before but this is the first time mommy saw it (as I was driving during the original occurrence) and the first time it was caught on film as well! What a smart boy!

Happy 10 Week Birthday!

Kieran is 9 weeks old today- the last single digit week birthday! Time has flown by and he changes every day. Today's excitement included a trip to Panera and Walmart followed by a photo shoot, lunch and nap- big adventures for baby Kieran! Yesterday we went into Coumbia for Indian food, icecream and visited Grandma Sandy's place of work- another big day for baby! Oh- and we have had all this fun with daddy too as Rick is out of school for the next couple weeks! Whoo-hoo! Kieran and mom are both enjoying daddy's company and help- thank goodness we get a little break together!

A new outfit and the girls...

Kieran is sporting his super cute "on the go" outfit today- an adorable gift curiosity of my sister's mother-in-law ( : He looks quite dapper in it, don't you think?
The other picture is of Neko and her kitty sister, Gracie- both enjoying the morning sunshine on the porch. Notice Neko's E-collar... she had 15 bladder stones removed a few days ago... poor baby!
