Happy 10 Week Birthday!

Kieran is 9 weeks old today- the last single digit week birthday! Time has flown by and he changes every day. Today's excitement included a trip to Panera and Walmart followed by a photo shoot, lunch and nap- big adventures for baby Kieran! Yesterday we went into Coumbia for Indian food, icecream and visited Grandma Sandy's place of work- another big day for baby! Oh- and we have had all this fun with daddy too as Rick is out of school for the next couple weeks! Whoo-hoo! Kieran and mom are both enjoying daddy's company and help- thank goodness we get a little break together!

A new outfit and the girls...

Kieran is sporting his super cute "on the go" outfit today- an adorable gift curiosity of my sister's mother-in-law ( : He looks quite dapper in it, don't you think?
The other picture is of Neko and her kitty sister, Gracie- both enjoying the morning sunshine on the porch. Notice Neko's E-collar... she had 15 bladder stones removed a few days ago... poor baby!

Daddy Graduates!

Congratulations Rick on graduating with a MAT in art education! Rick walked last night and in true comic nerd fashion, sported the batman emblem on his mortarboard- made him very easy to spot in the crowd! Kieran attended and wore his " My Daddy is an Art Teacher" onesie. He was nearly perfect, sleeping the entire ceremony, despite hoots, hollers and the occasional air horn! Way to go boys- mommy is very proud of you both!

Happy 2 month birthday big boy!

As of today, Kieran has been in the world two whole months!! And my, how he has grown and changed in such a short amount of time! From sickly, scrawny and yellow baby to fit, fat and pink baby! We are in complete awe of his amazing transformation and are loving every minute of it! Hope you enjoy the pictures... and all his sweet little smiles as much as we do!
Oh- and Kieran is finally becoming aware of his fur brothers and sisters and that has been a lot fun! We will have to get more of his reactions to them posted- but for now here he is seeing Darby... and Darby seeing him... which one is excited and which one not so much?!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy mother's day! Kieran and I spent a lovely holiday with my parents, sister, brother-in-law and niece. We enjoyed a yummy meal- prepared by grandma and a sweet chocolate-cherry cake- prepared by yours truly ( : Fun was had by all! I even had a little, tiny glass of wine ( ;
Kieran and I also gussied up for a few minutes to have some first mother's day pictures made. The adorable sear sucker outfit was a shower gift from auntie Shannon and the beautiful sweater was knitted by grandma Sandy- he looked so sweet!
We hope everyone else has just as lovely a day as we did ( :

Kieran seems to be getting the hang of batting at Mr. Caterpillar... he's swinging like a real champ! Go Kieran!
We had a good day today... in addition to sleeping in the big boy swing for the first time, Kieran made it through a 3 mile walk and a stop at the library without melting down (with the help of his paci of course)! Way to go big man! There's hope yet that I don't have to be a prisioner in the house for the next year!
