Kieran will begin preschool at
KIM (Kids In Montessori) school next month in Jefferson City. Rick and I have toured many area preschools in both Ashland and Jefferson City but nothing compared to KIM. We really like the
Montessori approach to education which mixes children of different ages and supports learning through independent discovery and exploration. We also really like that KIM school seems very peaceful and calm whenever we visit. The setting is very tranquil with a three room school house sitting in the middle of rolling pastures and surrounded by woods with the Moreau river running through it. The school also has a small barn with a few animals that the children help to care for. We are very excited for Kieran to begin school at the end of the month, when Rick and I head back to work. We will be sure to post pictures and more updates about Kieran's new school as the year unfolds.
